Food Babe, today and was excited to hear about all the great benefits of Maca -
I have been taking Maca for hormonal balance, to treat PCOS and over the 2 months or so I've been taking it many of my symptoms have cleared, including and especially my skin (THANK GOD!).
Great to hear about the 7 essential amino acids also contained in Maca.
And, amazingly, this superfood also tastes great!!! (it has a kind of sweet, malty flavour) I drink it straight up mixed with chlorella in a glass of water each morning, but obviously there are many ways you can experiment with taking it. Seeing as it's a raw superfood, I personally wouldn't put it in anything hot like a porridge or hot chocolate (as suggested by Vani) as you might run the risk of destroying some of the enzymes it contains
